We are pleased to move up one position in their rankings, but we are not satisfied. We are always striving to improve our culture and our business to make it one of the most attractive companies to work with in the United States.
Progress can be different for all of us. Regardless of the journey, self improvement is a must when seeking success and significance. At TAG, we find that growing yourself through reading is a great way. Two books that we recommend today to help you in your journey are:
“Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter & “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie
“Rich Dad Poor Dad” is about a man and his two dads—his real father (poor dad) and the father of his best friend (rich dad). It discusses how both men formed his thoughts about mindset, money and investing. One important lesson in the book is how you don't need to earn a high income to be rich.
“How to Win Friends and Influence People” teaches you different things such as techniques in handling people, ways to make people like you, win people to your way of thinking, be a leader and so much more.
In these two books, we’ve learned basic principles that have shaped our perspectives personally and professionally. If you are looking to grow yourself, grab one of these books today.
January of 2018 our management team had a chance to travel to Dallas, TX for the company's “Keys to Success” conference. It’s always great to travel to a different state, meet up with old friends, make new friends, and game plan for an exciting year.
The weekend was loaded with great breakouts from the best leaders in our business. Each breakout was catered to a variety of different topics (recruitment, training, leadership development, finances, etc). And of course the weekend was capped with an awards ceremony with heart felt speeches. Our futures look bright.
